# Escape the City (ETC)

> Escape the City is an instrumental ambient and cinematic music project. Intimate melodies, warm textures and spacious arrangements invite listeners to escape everyday noise and feel at home. This is the official guide to the project at https://etcsounds.com/.

The artist name is Escape the City, abbreviated ETC. The official website identifies this project and its releases; other artists or businesses with a similar name are separate entities.

The music is instrumental, without vocals or lyrics. Its musical identity brings together the warmth of cello, nylon-string guitar, gentle strings, expressive melodies and room for silence. Each piece explores a different landscape while keeping a sense of tenderness, wonder and reassurance. The recurring signature is an atmosphere and an approach to composition, rather than the same notes repeated in every piece.

Pieces begin with an image or an emotion. Themes unfold slowly, harmonies move beneath a held note, and arrangements leave space to breathe. The aim is a clear, expressive journey with an opening, development and gentle return. The visual world follows the same invitation: warm light, quiet landscapes, architectural thresholds and a sense of refuge.

The site presents the project, its music catalogue, release details, listening previews where available, and links to streaming platforms. The catalogue and individual release pages provide the current release information and listening links. The contact page welcomes enquiries about film, television, music licensing and collaborations. Public contact: escape@etcsounds.com.

The primary site language is English. French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Turkish versions are also available. Public pages use the same paths after the language prefix, for example /fr/music and /de/about. Release titles retain their original names.
